The Bisti Badlands and Ah-shi-sle-pah Badlands have some of the most stunning rock formations I have ever seen. It’s a Hoodoo haven for rock hounds. The photographic opportunities are endless. But it’s so remote that not many people know about it. Tucked away in the northwest corner of New Mexico, you will go all day and not see a single person. Other areas around New Mexico include Shiprock, Chaco Canyon, The Kasha-Katuwe Tent Rocks, White Sands national Monument, Carlsbad Caverns and locations around Santa Fe.
